"My name is Miss Angel. and I grew up in Buffalo, NY. That’s where I graduated from the university with a BA in education. I moved to NJ with my husband to raise my two daughters, now grown, and currently and help with my grandchild.
When I first moved to NJ and my daughters were younger, I continued my education and went on to receive my Montessori certificate. I now have been working with children for 20 years and I love every minute. I have worked at TLT for 6 years and I love to work with the children teaching them art, science, math and music among other things. I am excitde to see where the next years will take us."
Lead Teachers
"I am Miss Stephanie and I have been working in childcare for over 12 years. I am the mother of three wonderful children, two boys and 1 daughter. I am a graduate from PCTI and I studied child care at Berkeley collage. I have been working for TLT for 5 years and it's where I love all our children and what I do."
"I have two children, ages seven and three that have helped me become the "teacher" I am today. I attended Caldwell College and obtained a bachelor's degree in education and psychology. This is my third year teaching at 'The Learning Tree' as the Toddler Room teacher. The best thing about teaching is watching the childrens faces light up when they've learned something new!
I love working with children and helping them learn and grow through hands on experiences, song and play!"
"My name is Sabrina, but the children call me Miss Bina. I live in Hawthorne with my family- my husband and two beautiful daughters. After attending Immaculate Heart for high school I went to Bergan Community College for early childhood education.
In my personal life, I taught CCD for 8 years and have been class mom for my children’s school.
I have worked at TLT for 8 years now. I started in the infant room and I took over the Explorers room as a lead teacher this September. I love watching the children grow and develop and I look forward to many more years at TLT."
